Fly fishing in Nyanga

Yes, it’s a dry fly. How many times have you been told that there are no trout in Nyanga National Park? And, when you think of a dry-fly fisherman, you conjure up the image of a man wearing a tweed suit and a bowler hat, with a rod and reel, standing on a patch of grass in a small stream or lake. (Trout can be found in small streams and lakes in Nyanga National Park.) But, I’m not standing on a patch of grass, nor am I standing in a small stream or lake. I’m standing knee-deep in the middle of the Lower Nyanga River; the water is flowing past me at a rapid pace as it races to the
